Since 1967, AeroGo has supplied specialized tooling for moving and positioning aircraft, aircraft parts, rockets and satellites to the world's leading Aerospace companies.
AeroGo equipment, using fluid film Aero-Casters, provides vibrationless movement, unique maneuverability and accurate positioning of components.
Boeing
Helicopter, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania uses four specially designed transporters
to support, move and accurately position the 20,000 pound center fuselage
assemblies of the V-22 Osprey. Electronically synchronized drives move each
transporter, equipped with Aero-Casters, between assembly stations in the plant.
Each transporter is designed to lift the airframe assembly up to 27 inches and
accurately position them for joining with other sections of the aircraft.
The
Ariane V solid rocket motor segments are moved and positioned in the motor
integration building at SEP's Guyanais Space Center in French Guiana on a 240
ton capacity Aero-Caster equipped transporter. Using a pendant controlled
explosion proof electronic drive system, a single operator is able to accurately
move and position the 46 foot tall rocket motor.
This
sophisticated aircraft mover was designed and built for Northrop to transport
the B-2 Bomber within the final assembly area at the company's Palmdale,
California plant. The transporter pulls the aircraft onto the wheel support pads
and utilizes synchronized electronic drives for omni-directional movement. A
single operator is able to load, unload and move the B-2.
