Harsh Environment
Equipment Tags
HEET Tags
are extremely durable, corrosion resistant tags. They have been
designed to withstand exposure to many chemicals as well as elevated
temperatures. The tags are designed so that we can quickly process
your one-of-a-kind wording options: this allows you to specifically
customize each valve or piece of equipment, and thereby enhance
workers' safety.
Flexibility is the key for HEET Tags. Choose from the following
options:
- Sizes: Two sizes are
available: 2" x 2" and 2.5" x 5".
- Single or Double Sided:
Have text on one or both sides.
- Color Field: ASME (ANSI)
color options provide an easy method for color coding within the
plant. Colors include yellow, red, green, blue and white.
- Bar Codes: Many formats
have Code 3 of 9 bar coding as a standard option.
- Covers: Two different
covers are available for the 2.5" x 5" tag. The covers
protect the tag information from debris and allow clear reading
of the tag even after exposure to airborne debris.
- Formats: Multiple
formats/layouts available to choose from.
- Data Transfer: When
ordering, valve tag data can be transfered via diskette in Lotus
or DBase formats. Data can also be sent on a list for data entry
at Brady.

Introducing the
WavePoint™ Reader/Writer and tag family from Brady RFID.
It's the total solution in radio frequency identification
systems.
WavePoint™
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader/writer
utilizes low frequency (125 kHz) radio signals to read and
write encoded data from/to a small transponder, or tag.
Read Only (RO) tags store specific characters that
represent the item the tag is attached to. Read/write tags
allow you to read these same characters, as well as modify
the existing data by over-writing it. In this way, current
tag data travels along with the item.
WavePoint™
reader/writers are designed to operate in hostile
environments where less durable equipment could fail.
Their standard features allow them to fend off heat, cold,
noise and volatile fumes without sacrificing performance.
