Corrugated steel decking is stronger than wood decking and less expensive than both wood and wire. For long length items, corrugated steel decking is a perfect solution. It provides a seamless, flat, smooth, solid support from the front all the way to the back of the rack bay. Typical lengths are cut in 8 to 12 feet or more and are available as solid or perforated, painted or galvanized finish.

No matter what brand of rack is used, our corrugated steel decking fits any standard 1 5/8" or 1 1/2" pallet rack step beam. It is often used as a "safety net" in standard pallet racks to support a pallet load which might be improperly placed on the rack beams. The decking will help support the load and prevent it from falling through. The gauge of the decking will vary to accommodate different loading requirements -- from 22 gauge to 16 gauge. We also have We also have lighter duty 7/8" and 9/16" high decking for lighter load, bulk-storage, shelving beams.

Our 1 1/2" Corrugated Steel "B" Deck, is a very common material for flooring applications on Mezzanines, Catwalks, and overhead Aisle ways. Our mezzanine decking has a BRIGHT WHITE paint finish on the underside, so when lights are installed under the structure, you have bright / highly reflective finish. The decking material can be cut to any length required, typically in 8 ft. to 20 ft. lengths. The length is usually determined by the spacing of the supports. The panels are available in 36", 30" and 24" widths. The gauge of the material will vary depending on the loading requirements. For very deep span conditions, we also offer a heavy duty "N" deck material that is 3" high for greater strength and deflection control.

The optional PERFORATED panels are popular because they will still act as a fire baffle yet allow water from an overhead sprinkler to drain to the levels below. Another good reason to choose a solid deck is for its ability to contain material which might fall through an open deck to another level.

The wave shape of corrugated steel decking allows it to nest very densely, one panel inside of another, saving money in freight costs. When not in use, the panels can be stored easily out of the way.

It accommodates a wide weight range and can be made to fit any rack size, in any number of different panel heights. It is ideal for both forklift and hand-loaded items.

Our panels may be fastened to the rack uprights, to the back of a rack bay, or to the rack beams to act as a smoke and fire baffle. They prevent the spreading of smoke or fire from one storage bay to the next. Because this is a non-load bearing application, the panels can often be made in a light gauge, more economical material.
